Welcome to Veydra Recruitment Ltd (“Veydra”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.veydra.uk (the “Website”) and the terms under which Veydra provides yacht recruitment and placement services.
By accessing our Website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
If you do not agree, please do not continue to use this Website or our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Client” / “You” / “Your” – any person or entity requesting recruitment services or using this Website.

  • “Candidate” – any individual introduced by Veydra to a Client for employment or engagement.

  • “Engagement” – employment, contract, or service arrangement between a Client and a Candidate introduced by Veydra.

  • “Short-Term Placement” – an engagement lasting under 60 days.

  • “Long-Term Placement” – an engagement lasting 60 days or more.

  • “Website” – all content hosted at www.veydra.uk.

2. Cookies

This Website uses cookies to improve user experience.
By using this Website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All text, design, graphics, and branding on this Website are the intellectual property of Veydra Recruitment Ltd.
You may not republish, reproduce, or use any content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

4. Recruitment Service Fees

Veydra operates on a success-based fee model. Fees become payable once a Candidate introduced by Veydra accepts employment or begins work with a Client.

4.1 Long-Term Placements

For engagements lasting 60 days or more, the fee is 75% of one month’s gross salary (or equivalent monthly rate).

4.2 Short-Term Placements

For engagements lasting under 60 days, the fee is 25% of the Candidate’s total gross pay for the engagement.

4.3 Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due within 14 days of the Candidate’s start date.

  • Late payments incur 2% monthly interest.

  • Fees exclude VAT (where applicable).

  • Fees apply whether the Candidate is engaged directly, indirectly, or via another entity introduced by the Client.

4.4 Refund & Replacement Policy

If a long-term placement ends within 30 days, Veydra will provide one free replacement for the same role (subject to availability).
No refunds are provided once a Candidate has started employment.

5. Anti-Circumvention

If a Candidate introduced by Veydra is engaged by the Client, a related entity, or a third party introduced by the Client within 12 months of Veydra’s introduction, the full applicable fee will be payable.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate job details, conditions, and pay information.

  • Notify Veydra immediately when a Candidate is hired.

  • Ensure all relevant insurances, visas, and employment contracts comply with applicable maritime and employment law.

  • Not share candidate information or CVs with third parties without written consent.

7. Candidate Registration

By submitting an application or CV, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and consent to Veydra processing your data for recruitment purposes in accordance with GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
You may request deletion or correction of your data at any time by contacting crew@veydra.uk.

8. Confidentiality

All candidate information shared by Veydra is strictly confidential and for the Client’s internal recruitment use only.
Both parties agree not to disclose confidential information relating to the other’s business, except as required by law.

9. Force Majeure

Veydra shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to war, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

10. Equal Opportunities

Veydra Recruitment Ltd is an equal opportunities company. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, nationality, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic. All placements are based solely on merit and suitability.

11. Insurance Disclaimer

The Client is responsible for ensuring all engaged crew are covered by appropriate insurance (P&I, medical, travel, etc.) as required by maritime law and vessel flag regulations.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate their service agreement by written notice.
Any fees due for Candidates introduced prior to termination remain payable in full.

13. Limitation of Liability

Veydra acts solely as an introduction agency.
We are not liable for loss, damage, costs, or claims arising from the performance, conduct, or termination of any Candidate’s employment.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

14. External Links

Our Website may contain links to other websites.
Veydra is not responsible for the content, privacy, or security of those external sites.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
